Wassail, Wassail!
This week I’ve become a bit obsessed with Wassail singing and Mummers Plays, thanks to a blog I’ve found. www.gloschristmas.com. Very excited about Leighterton once having its own Wassail, and about visiting Marshfield to see the Paper Boys later in the month. I’ll post photos.
Milestones
I guess that milestone markers can be whatever you want them to be. Later On has been a slow ramble rather than a route march, and so no milestones reached yet. But it feels like we’re on our way now.
The village bus stop
The programme name Later On comes from a typo on the Leighterton village bus stop (buses run weekly through the village). On one side of the bus stop sign the village is called ‘Leighteron’ (the other side spells it ‘Leigherton’).

day 1 A new desk, an old PC, some notes in too many notebooks and a fumbling start with a blog, but anyway, it has to be forwards.
